Welcome to DodoGarage (https://dodogarage.tizilmaurice.com), a website where people in Mauritius buy, sell and rent vehicles. DodoGarage is run by YJM ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use DodoGarage.
1. What DodoGarage does
DodoGarage brings buyers, sellers, renters and rental companies together. We are not the owner, seller or renter of any vehicle shown, and we are not a party to any sale or rental agreed between members. Payment, ownership transfer and handover of a vehicle take place directly between the members involved.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement.
- The information you give us (name, email, mobile number and, for businesses, the Business Registration Number) must be true and kept up to date.
- You are responsible for keeping your password secret and for everything done with your account.
- One person or business may hold one account, unless we agree otherwise.
3. Listing a vehicle
- You may only list a vehicle that you own or are allowed to sell or rent out, and that you are legally able to sell or rent in Mauritius.
- Your photos must show the actual vehicle and must be your own. Descriptions, mileage, year and price must be accurate and must not mislead.
- Photos must not contain phone numbers, prices or advertising text, offensive content, weapons, or anything that is not related to the vehicle.
- We may review, hide, refuse or remove any listing, and may hide number plates and faces in photos, at our discretion.
- Listing a vehicle for private sale is free. Optional paid services, such as Boost and business plans, are described on the site or on request.
4. Offers and bidding
- Only verified members can make offers. The bidding rules shown to members in their account form part of these terms.
- An offer is a genuine commitment to buy the vehicle at that price, subject to viewing it and finding it as described.
- The seller decides whether to accept an offer. Once an offer is accepted, the buyer and seller are expected to complete the sale in good faith.
- Members who repeatedly back out of accepted deals, or who make offers they do not intend to honour, may lose the right to bid or have their account suspended.
5. Renting
Rental prices, deposits, insurance, mileage limits, delivery and conditions are set by the owner or rental company. A booking request is only confirmed when the owner confirms it. The rental contract is between the renter and the owner or rental company, who must hold any licence and insurance required by law.
6. Market guide and estimates
Price badges and estimates are given for information only. They are not an official valuation and you should not rely on them alone when deciding to buy, sell or rent.
7. Messages and behaviour
Use messages only to discuss vehicles on DodoGarage. Do not send spam, abuse or threats, and do not ask for payment outside a genuine deal. Never send a deposit for a vehicle you have not seen. Report anything suspicious using the Report button.
8. Things you must not do
- Post false, stolen, or copied listings or photos.
- Copy, collect or reuse content or data from DodoGarage by automated means.
- Try to get around our checks, access other accounts, or disrupt the site.
- Use DodoGarage for anything illegal in Mauritius.
9. Suspension and closing your account
We may suspend or close an account, and remove its listings, if these terms are broken or if we believe it is necessary to protect members. You may close your account at any time by writing to dodogarage@tizilmaurice.com.
10. Responsibility
We work hard to keep DodoGarage reliable and safe, but we cannot guarantee that listings are accurate, that members will complete a deal, or that the site will always be available. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for losses arising from deals between members or from the use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the laws of Mauritius that cannot be excluded.
11. Content
You keep ownership of the photos and text you post. You allow us to show, resize and edit them (for example to hide number plates) on DodoGarage and in its promotion for as long as your listing is online. The DodoGarage name, logo and design belong to YJM.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is important, we will tell members by email or on the site.
13. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Mauritius, and the courts of Mauritius have jurisdiction.
